At Paylos, we believe that personal growth and skill-building doesn't have to be boring or clinical.

While our activities may look like just an adventure, each experience is purposefully designed to build capacity—whether it’s helping someone learn to cook, use public transport, develop social skills, or prepare for employment.

Our staff are not only skilled in creating engaging experiences; they have years of experience in the community services sector. This means we understand the barriers that often prevent people from accessing services and know how to work around them. 

Paylos recognises that many individuals seeking support prefer not to feel like they’re part of a traditional service. That’s why we cultivate an inviting environment that feels like a friendly hangout.

What if I don't have an NDIS plan?

At Paylos, we understand that funding options can vary. While we are a registered NDIS provider, our services can also be funded by other organisations such as DFFH (Department of Families, Fairness and Housing), Child Protection, VACCA (Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency), or any other community service organisation on a fee-for-service basis. 

Are support workers available outside standard hours for special events or emergencies?

Yes, our support workers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. For support sessions outside standard hours (later than 10pm or earlier than 6am), we recommend booking with as much notice as possible.

This allows us to prepare the staffing pool for those specific hours and ensure that we can meet your unique support needs. For more information or to make arrangements, feel free to reach out to our bookings department.

Can I Use NDIS Funding for Holidays or Tourist Travel?

No, the NDIS is not intended for holidays or tourist travel. Its primary purpose is to provide temporary respite for participants and their informal supports, ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines.

Under these rules, NDIS funding cannot cover:

• Cruises, holiday packages, airfares, or passports and visas.

• Accommodation or travel expenses for family members or support workers.

• Admission to theme parks, concerts, sporting events, or conferences.

• General living costs, like meals, unless they are included in an STA package (e.g., in a group or centre-based setting).

If you require assistance during a holiday, you can use your regular NDIS-funded supports to help with tasks related to your plan goals. However, the associated holiday costs (e.g., travel, accommodation, and food) would need to be covered out-of-pocket.

What services do you provide?

At Paylos, we specialise in empowering people to reach their full potential, and we do this in 3 main main ways;

Short-Term Accommodation (STA): Capacity-building stays at our 37-acre property, focused on fostering independence and social connections.

Group Day Programs: Engaging community-based activities to build skills, explore interests, and connect socially.

One-to-One Supports: Personalized assistance to develop life skills, achieve goals, and thrive in everyday settings.

Are you a NDIS Registered provider?

Yes, Paylos is a registered NDIS provider. This means we meet all the compliance and quality standards set by the NDIS to deliver safe and high-quality services to participants.

The Person I’m thinking of referring has Behaviours of Concern, is Paylos a suitable provider?

Yes, Paylos may be a suitable provider, depending on the individual’s needs and circumstances. Our team is experienced in supporting participants with a range of Behaviours of Concern. We take a person-centered approach, working closely with participants, their families, and support networks to develop tailored strategies that promote safety, positive outcomes, and personal growth.

Before we begin services, we conduct a comprehensive intake and risk assessment to ensure we can meet the participant’s needs effectively. If additional support or specialised expertise is required, we collaborate with other professionals to provide the best possible care.
